My father was a long time cancer survivor. I have the sweetest warmest memories of my dad when in 2008 I too, was diagnosed with cancer. We bonded over how terrible cancer is but we are strong and can beat it.

He told me never to lose my sense of humor through chemo and to know that if he could he would carry the

cancer for me. He was a wonderful grandfather to our 3 daughters and had a special bond with his great-grandaughter Avery whom always made him smile.

He will be greatly missed by many. Im thankful for all the cherished memories that live in my heart.
