Robert J. Heimbuch, 87, of Tenafly, formerly of Hillsdale, passed away on Sunday July 1st, 2018.   Born in Hoboken in 1930 to the late Edmund & Marie (nee Deublein).  Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Fordham University. Thereafter, Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. In 1954, he married the love of his life, Jane (nee Grube), and together they raised 2 loving sons.
After serving his country, Robert began his career as a pharmacist, eventually owning Schneider Pharmacy in Englewood for 33 years.  Besides loving his pharmacy work, he was an excellent handy man who could fix anything. 
Robert will be missed by his devoted wife, Jane; 2 children, William J. Heimbuch of Englewood, & Richard C. Heimbuch & his wife Cynthia of Franklin Lakes; and 2 siblings, Claire Bremer of Florida, and the late William F. Heimbuch.
Funeral services were private. A memorial service will be held at County Manor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 133 County Road, Tenafly, NJ, notice of time and date to be announced. Arrangements under the direction of Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home
