James Rienzi our beloved husband, dad and PopPop died on July30, 2018. Born to Robert and Abbie Rienzi, Jim was a lifelong resident of Rutherford. He graduated from Rutherford High in 1956, went on to Villanova receiving a degree in accounting in 1960 and completed his MBA at FDU.

Jim was an avid soccer (Red Bulls, Spurs), basketball and NASCAR fan, and a proud Nova alum cheering on his Wildcats. Humble and quiet, Jim was happiest when he was surrounded by his large family. He
looked forward to summers at Lake George driving his boat, and holiday dinners filled with laughter.

Jim is survived by his loving wife and constant companion, Barbara (Carlson); children, Lori, James, Wendy (Rick), Jennifer (Ron), and Ellen (Eddie); grandkids Max, Mia, Bobby, Ricky, Eddie and Jimmy; sisters Abbie (Wayne) and Mary Ellen (Arthur); and his favorite puppies TinkerBelle and Hunter. He is predeceased by his brother Bob and his son Christopher.

A viewing will be held Friday, August 3, 4pm to 8pm at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Funeral Saturday gathering 10:00am in funeral home followed by Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.

Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover or the Silver Bay YMCA Camp Open Pathways fund.
