Condolence: MY MAMA’S EULOGY............
Today I honor my mother. Anna Cecilia Theresa Bencivenga Oddo. My mom wore the most beautiful dresses n high heels when she was younger. She looked like a movie star. She had an amazing voice and memories of her singing are a big part of our childhood. Listening to her singing the same songs to my girls made me so happy. My mom taught me the meaning of kindness, patience, devotion, survival, strength, respect, happiness, sadness, beauty, success, sacrifice, pride, class, wisdom, a sense of humor, and most of all love. I see these qualities in my daughters. They all have a special part of their grandmother within them, and I am so very grateful for that gift that she gave them, through me. As I lay on my mothers chest for her last breath, I felt a sense of peace as she shared hers with me. I will treasure that forever. A piece of her heart will always keep beating inside of you Francesca because your birth saved my mother’s life. We got to spend 26 more precious years with her. I am proud to say that my mother was the greatest woman on earth. And as Danny would say, “Never in a hundred million trillion years, will there ever be a woman as strong, tough n great as her”.
It gives my great pleasure to know that she is with all of her love ones, especially her dear mother Mary and her beloved son Thomas. Thank you for everything.
Rest In Peace our little mommie.
I will love and miss you every single day of my life!!
