Albert S. Malles, 81, of Rutherford, NJ, died at his home April 2nd, 2009 after a long journey with Alzheimer's. Albert was born in Yonkers, NY to the late Simon and Marcella Malles. He graduated from Kearny High School, Class of 1946. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the Army of the United States and was honorably discharged in 1948. Albert enlisted in the National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1952 as Sergeant, COA, 113thArmored Infantry Battalion. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1952 with a Bachelors of Science degree. In 1955, Albert moved to Rutherford with his wife Stella. He worked for Champion International and the NJ Sports and Exposition Authority, Local 734. He was an avid reader and a history buff. Albert is survived by his wife, Stella, daughter Estelle, North Caldwell, NJ, and son John, Rutherford, NJ. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Anderson, Medford Lakes, NJ and brother Peter, Toms River, NJ. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas and his daughter Carol Ann.
