Bettina Amatucci, of Rutherford, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. Born in Indiprete, Italy to Giovanni and Giovannina (nee D’uva) Ferrara. Bettina was six years old when her family immigrated to the United States, ultimately residing in Rutherford for 50 years. Bettina married her sweetheart Richard Amatucci in 1971. The happy couple remained in Rutherford where they raised their two sons, John and Mark.

Bettina was a beautician at "Beauty Forum" in Wood-Ridge for 20 years. She also prepared the hair and makeup for the deceased. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband. They were both members of the Kip Center in Rutherford. Bettina was known for her golden chicken cutlets which everyone looked forward to having for dinner. She loved her family most of all, especially her five beautiful, beloved grandchildren. She was kind, compassionate and completely selfless, always concerned with the needs of others. She made a lot of friends while maintaining her privacy, which was important to her.   

 Bettina is predeceased by her brother Antonio and survived by her brother Ben. She will be deeply missed by her adoring husband Richard, her sons John and his wife Cheryl, Marc and his wife Christine,  her grandchildren; Ava, Johnny, Vanna, Vale, Beau, her brother- in- law’s, Burt, Vincent, Robert, nieces & nephews; Jane, Maria, Linda, Denise, Patricia, Marilyn, Barry, Vincent, Gerald, Lauren, Dinese, Robert, and Al.

Family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, September 21st, from 3-7pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, NJ.

Funeral will be offered Friday, September 22nd. All to arrive at the Funeral Home 9:30am for 10:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
