Betty Sigler, 93, of Rutherford, passed away Thursday, February 1st, 2024. Born in Schenectady, NY to Laurence and Catherine (nee Greiner) Bower.

Betty and her husband settled in Rutherford where she had remained since 1965. She worked for Bell Telephone, Givaudan Cosmetics and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She would often be outside gardening, which she enjoyed. She loved cooking, reading, deep sea fishing and travel, especially to Cape May and Maine with her family.

Betty is predeceased by her husband Douglas in 2004. She will be deeply missed by her two sons Jeffrey Sigler and Kenneth Sigler and wife Fran, her two grandchildren Monica Sigler and Kurt Sigler, her two siblings Phyllis Ryckman and Ronald Bower. Betty is predeceased by three siblings Edward, Lawrence, and Frederick.

The family will receive friends Friday 3-7pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.

There will be a Saturday gathering at 10am at the Funeral Home to depart at 10:30 for Interment at North Church Cemetery, North Church Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419.
