Obituary for Bryan B. Berta

Bryan B. Berta, 41 of Ridgefield, passed away Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019. He was born in Englewood, NJ, to Joseph and the late Carol Lynn Berta (nee Coccioli).
Bryan was a graduate of Ridgefield Memorial HS; he was in the HS Marching Band playing the Tuba, he also performed in the HS Musicals. Bryan was funny and witty with a large heart. He was a Ridgefield Fireman Co.2, a member and past Captain for Ridgefield Ambulance Corp., and member of the Dodge Racing Club. Bryan was an avid toy collector of Voltron action figures, trains, eagles cars, and NASA. He was a San Jose Sharks fan and Jets fan. He enjoyed riding his “Spyder” Motorcycle and relaxing with his dogs, Chooch and Triton. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially with his son, D.J.
He was employed in the Phlebotomy Dept. as a Medical Tech. for Hackensack Hospital.
Bryan is predeceased by his mother Carol Berta. He will be deeply missed by his father Joseph Berta, his wife Sarah (nee Frederick), his son Derrick, his siblings, Jason Berta and wife Amie and Carla Berta-Can and husband Mehmet .

Family will receive friends Saturday 4-8pm and Sunday 1-5pm in the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave., Ridgefield.
Funeral on Monday gathering 9:15am in Funeral Home for 10:15am Mass of Christian Liturgy in St Matthew’s Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
