Catherine M.Tighe (nee Zajac) age 90 lived in Rutherford for 55 years died Nov. 20, 2010 In her working years, she was a Real-Estate agent and later accepted a position as a secretary for Fairleigh Dickinson University and held that responsibility for 20 years before retiring in 1988. She was also an active parishioner of the Church of St. Mary Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph ( 1993) and is survived by her 5 loving daughters, , Ann Bottino, Marie Tighe, Cathy Armbruster , Joan Wendel and Janet Tighe, her 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Jennifer and James, a brother Edward Zajac and was predeceased by her two sisters, Sr. Daniel and Sr. Aloysia
Funeral Wednesday 8:30 am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford Followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in The Church of St. Mary, Rutherford. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm
