Charles Catiello Vanacore 89, of Rutherford NJ entered into rest on Tuesday April 13th, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, NY, was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He became a leading hair stylist/colorist and owned a Top salon (V. Charles) in NYC and later worked at Saks Fifth Avenue where he styled many celebrity clients and friends He lived his life with STRENGTH, class, and always put his family first. He resided in NYC and California before marrying his love Fanny and residing in Rutherford with his family for 45 years. Charles C. was predeceased by his wife Francesca "Fanny" (nee Pena) in Jan. of 1997. He is survived by his daughters Cynthia Amelia Heber, Melissa Fernandez, and his son John Edward, Sons-in-Law Peter and John, Daughter-in-law Michelle. Grandchildren, Matthew John, John Catiello, Salvatore, and Marchello. He will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors. Funeral Friday 9:00am from Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford, NJ. Followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington, NJ. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9.
