Obituary for Clara Hemmel
Hemmel
Clara, 93,of Rutherford passed away Saturday, March 1st, 2014. She was born in Wallington, NJ to Stanley and Josephine (nee Mendyck) Botlick in 1920.
Clara had been employed for 25 years as a line worker for Star Glow in East Rutherford before retiring in the 1990’s. She had a love and passion for all animals, especially her cats. She was proud about her Polish Heritage. Most important to her was her family.
Clara is predeceased by her husband Lawrence J. Hemmel (1998). She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Robert and his wife Judy of Ridgewood, James and his wife Dorothea of Lincoln Park, her grandchildren, Brittany Adams, Javan Hemmel and nieces, Lori Walsh, Jayne Blake and Maureen Peterson. She had one sibling, the late Alice Blake.
Funeral Wednesday 8:30am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, So. Hackensack
Family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
