Dennis A. Griffin Jr., of Rutherford on August 24,2010 Dennis is Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was a retired Stationary Engineer for Bambergers Dept Store in Paramus where he was employed for many years. He was a member of Local #6 Operating Engineers Union, the American Legion Post Bronx, NY. He earned his 3rd. degree Black Belt in the art of Judo and was featured in an article on Judo in the Bergenite News Paper for the Can Am Games. Dennis is survived by his beloved wife Anita (nee Tesio) Devoted father of Theresa Verhaalen, Dennis C. Griffin and Melissa Griffin. Loving grandfather of Rowan, Dear Brother of John Griffin. Funeral Friday 8:30am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 Mass of Christian Liturgy in St. Joseph RC Church, East Rutherford.
