Dolores A Marchesani, age 92, passed peacefully on Friday, July 8th, 2022.  She was born in Jersey City, NJ to Leonard and Anna Faccone.  Dolores and her family moved to Union City where she remained for over 40 years before retiring to Long Beach Island.  She was employed for 20 years by the Union City Board of Education as a Librarian’s aide in Edison and Robert Waters schools before retiring in 1993.

Dolores is predeceased by her husband Nicholas and sisters Rosemarie Novembre and Bettina Marchesani.  She is survived by her children; Patrick, Juliane and Nicholas, Jr., daughter-in-law Anne, grandson Patrick, Jr. and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home,19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford NJ. Funeral - Wednesday, July 13th, gathering 9:30am at the funeral home for a 10:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy at the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Avenue, Rutherford, NJ.                                         

Interment following Weehawken Cemetery.**The family requests those who wish to express sympathy, to consider making a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.(envelopes will be provided by Funeral Home) or to your local animal shelter in Dolores’ name.**
