Obituary for Edward J. Motyleski, Jr.
Edward J. Motyleski, Jr., 75, of Rutherford passed away June 19, 2021. Born in Jersey to Edward Sr., and Julia Motyleski.
Edward was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Jersey City. He was an usher for St. Nicholas Parish and played for their softball team.
His career was a mail handler for the Kearny Post Office. He was very active in sports with his coworkers and friends. He was a member of the Post Office bowling team and a pitcher for the Post Office softball League. He loved trips to Atlantic City and enjoyed the slot Machines.
Edward is predeceased by his father Edward, mother Julia Motyleski - Smith and his dad Harry Smith. He will be very much missed by his brother Michael Motyleski, Sr. (predeceased wife Margaret), his sisters, Patti Ann Motyleski, Michelle Motyleski, his brother Charles “Paul” Smith and wife Gail, nieces and nephews; Michael Motyleski, Jr., Michelle Motyleski and Lauren Smith, great nieces and nephews; Kyler Motyleski, Alexis Hope Motyleski and Emma Smith.
Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Wednesday 8:30am from Funeral Home for 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
