Eleanore (nee Massa), 89, died peacefully on August 27, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Garfield and lived most of her life in Rutherford . Beloved wife of Peter who predeceased her in 2007. Eleanore was the devoted mother of Eleanore and Tom Richard and Peter and Jackie Miragliotta. She was the cherished grandmother of Michele and Scott Sabia, Kristin and Fred Aguilera, Peter and Helene Miragliotta, Erin and Dave White and Michael Miragliotta and Bill Fritsch. 7 Great grandchildren: Connor, Kyle, and Sarah Sabia; Daniel and Brandon Aguilera; and Peter and Lucia Miragliotta.
More than anything else, Eleanore was a family person, finding her joy in gathering her family for meals and celebrations. Her special legacy is the Italian Christmas Eve dinner with every member of her family present. She will live on in those celebrations through the traditions and recipes she passed on.

Eleanore belonged to The Church of St. Mary Parish and the Community of God's Love. She was a member of the Columbiettes, the Rosary Altar Society, and Renew.

Family will receive friends Sunday 7:00 to 9:00pm and Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm in the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford , NJ . Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:30am Church of St. Mary, Rutherford.
Entombment: St. Nicholas ,Mausoleum, Lodi.
