Elizabeth J. (nee Kantor), of Rutherford passed away peacefully March 30th. She was 85 years old. She was the true heart of her family. Elizabeth was born in Jersey City and a 1944 graduate of St. Michael’s High School. She was a Rutherford resident for over 50 years. Elizabeth worked at Fairleigh Dickinson University for 18 years and retired in 1991. She also worked for New York Telephone for 8 years. She was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband John, son William and is survived by her son John and his wife Barbara, son Robert, daughter Carol Cromis and husband Michael, daughter Pat Brolewicz and husband Ken and her nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Joshua, Matthew, Caitlyn, Michael, Honah-Lee, Jennie Lynn and Justine.

Funeral: Wednesday, April 4th, 8:30 in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave, Rutherford followed by 9:30 Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford
Interment:Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington
Friends will be received Tuesday April 3rd, 4:00pm to 8:00pm
