Emma A, age 95 of Chester, PA. , formally of Rutherford, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2013. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late August and Emma Klapproth (nee Bischel).
Emma was a longtime resident of Rutherford since 1954 and moved to Chester, PA in 2011. She was a parishioner at The Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford and an enthusiastic past member of the Rutherford Art Association.
Emma enjoyed writing poetry and has her poems published in Robert Nelson’s “Publishers Choice”. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Great American Pacific Tea Co, Montvale, NJ for over 40 years. Emma is survived by her niece Jane Rogers, nephews Bill Rogers, Michael Rogers and family in California. Also her cousins Dorothy Boyle and Lorraine Murray and families of New York. She is predeceased by her sisters Mary, Helen and Phyllis.
All are asked to assemble at 9:45AM in the Church of Saint Mary for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Liturgy.
Interment: Hillside Cemetery Lyndhurst, NJ
