Obituary for Francesco DeRobertis

Francesco DeRobertis
Francesco DeRobertis, a Pharmacist, resident of New York, formerly of Rutherford, died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident in New York City on September 21, 2015 at the age of 45.
Frank is survived by his parents Sergio and Rosaria DeRobertis of Toms River; his wife Diana DeRobertis (ne Vargas); his son Francesco Sergio DeRobertis Jr.; his siblings Robert DeRobertis of Matawan, NJ, Elsa DeRobertis of Toms River, NJ, and Antonia DeRobertis Gelis of Howell, NJ.
Frank was born on August 13, 1970 in Hoboken, NJ to Sergio and Rosaria DeRobertis. Frank graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, making the Deans List in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1999. On May 18, 2008, Frank married Diana Vargas and after moving to Rockland County, NY, the couple welcomed a beautiful son on November 4, 2011.
Frank was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast who was a mastermind in repair work. Frank was an extremely intelligent and talented individual whose favorite subjects included math, science and music. He often displayed his many talents through his art, his creative woodwork and home remodeling projects. Frank’s charismatic personality was larger than life and his passion for life was apparent to all who knew him.
Above all, Frank’s favorite role was being a dad and he enjoyed spending quality time with his son. Frankie Jr. was the most important part of his life and Frank’s untimely passing will forever impact his son’s and families’ lives. Frank’s family will always remind his son of the amazing, loving father he was and will always encourage and support him to passionately pursue and accomplish all of his future goals in life.
Frank will be deeply missed by his family and friends. For all of us who knew and loved him dearly, Frank is with us in heart and spirit; now and forever.
All are welcome to attend the service arrangements and celebrate Frank's life.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations for Frankie Jr.’s college fund to PO Box 744, Tallman, NY 10982.
