Francisco (Mercado) Perez, 75, (Tite’) of Rutherford went peacefully to the Lord on Saturday, June 26th, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife Roberta (nee Avila), his devoted son Bob and Grandpa to Robert Jr., his sisters, Lydia, Nereida, Elena (predeceased), his brothers; Ernesto, Amador (predeceased), Salvatore, Miguel and Juan Angelo, his niece Nancy and husband Carlos, sister-in-law Michelle and husband Costantino along with many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends who loved him dearly.

Francisco loved spending time with his family writing songs, playing the guitar and going to classic car shows with his son Bob. He also was an avid Yankees fan; he most recently could be found cheering on his Grandson’s baseball teams.
He spent his days in the garden, feeding the birds and squirrels. He was a kind and compassionate man who was always there to lend a hand to anyone. He will be sorely missed. We are heart broken but grateful to have had him in our lives.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Prayer Services followed by the Rutherford Fire Department.
