Frank J. Linzalone, 90, a long-time resident of Rutherford, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 with his daughter by his side. He was born in NYC, NY to Anthony and Maria (nee Capodiferro) Linzalone. In 1953 he married his sweetheart, Mary (nee Watters) and they made their roots in Rutherford, NJ to raise their family. Frank proudly served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955 and wanted to continue to serve his country in some capacity. He, therefore, remained in the Army Reserve for 8 more years.

Frank worked at Dubois Chemical in East Rutherford, NJ beginning in 1960 until he retired in 1992. He was a member of the American Legion. Frank enjoyed coin collecting and playing the NJ Lottery; but most of all, he enjoyed and valued his time with family and friends.

Frank is predeceased by his wife, Mary (2015), and his son, Francis (2000). He is survived by his devoted and loving daughter, Janet Linzalone, his grandchildren, Adam (Cristina) and Rachael (Nick), great-grandchildren, Lila Rose and Grayson Francis, his brother, Cesare and his wife, Margaret, his sister-in-law, Anne Watters, many nieces and nephews and great friends. He is also predeceased by his brother, Steve and his wife, Ann and his brother, Philip.

There are no words to describe how much Frank will be missed by his daughter, Janet, whom he meant the world to.

Family will receive friends Thursday 11-12:30pm in the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford,
followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30pm.
Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Ave., North Arlington.
