Obituary for Frank M. Fasouletos

Frank M. Fasouletos
Frank M. Fasouletos, 65, on December 5, 2015 of Rutherford, NJ. Frank was born on November 6, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York to Michael and Tena (Zervos) Fasouletos. He was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and Rutherford, NJ where he eventually met and married the love of his life, Marylou (Jacovino). Marylou and Frank were married 38 years and built a beautiful life together, remaining in Rutherford to raise their children, Michael, Christopher, and Connie. For most of his life, he owned and operated Ralph’s Restaurant Pizzeria and the Trackside Italian Eatery in East Rutherford, NJ. He worked hard to support his family and will forever be remembered as being honest, hardworking, and selfless.
Frank found great joy being “Pop” to his beautiful granddaughters, Lacey and Lia, and would spend hours bragging about not being able to take his eyes off of them. He loved the music of the 1960’s, his log cabin in upstate New York, and most of all, his home away from home, the Jersey Shore. As with everything in his life and with Marylou at his side, he fought for years to defeat pancreatic cancer, often calling himself a “medical miracle.” He passed away surrounded by his loving family.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife Marylou, son Michael and wife Alison of Pompton Lakes, son Christopher and wife Karen of Mahwah, daughter Connie of Rutherford, siblings Andrew and Irene, and adoring granddaughters, Lacey and Lia Fasouletos. He leaves a legacy that will extend well beyond his life.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 9th, 9:00am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ
