Obituary for Frederick Benzing
Frederick Benzing, 79 of E. Rutherford passed on Friday May 3, 2019.
Fred was a long time resident of E Rutherford and was very active in the St. John’s Lutheran Church. He served in the US Air Force from 1959 to 1965. He was a member of 55 Kip Center, enjoyed his old records from the 40’s and 50’s and old TV shows.
Fred was predeceased by his wife Jean "Genevieve" (nee Kowalski) Benzing (2013), his sons Frederick J. Benzing (1991) and William Zozula (2012). He is survived by his loving children, Pamela Marlowe, Catherine Benzing and son Richard Zozula, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and his brother George Benzing of Ohio.
Fred's Family will receive friends Saturday May 11, 2019, 9:30am to 10:30am in St. John's Lutheran Church, 145 Mortimer Ave., Rutherford. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:30am. Thereafter, an Inurnment will take place in Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington.
