Giovannina, “Jennie”, 84, of Rutherford passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 27th 2014.
She was born in Cicerale, Italy to Nicola and Teresa (nee Carpinelli) Valente in 1930.
She had retired in 1978 from Shoprite in Lyndhurst, and remained a long time member of the Church of Saint Mary.
Giovannina was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Ippolito, (2005), the devoted mother of her children, Olivio Ippolito and his wife Antonella and Sanitella Ippolito, the dear sister of Mauro, Maria, Velia, Lucianno and Mirella, loving nonna of Brittany, Anthony, Gianna, Jenilee and Nicholas.
Funeral Wednesday 9:30am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy In the Church of Saint Mary.
Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Family will receive friends and loved ones Tuesday from 2pm to 9pm.
