Coleman Glen, 60, of Rutherford 0n May 15, 2010 Glen was born to Gary Coleman (former Rutherford Fire Chief) and Hazel (nee Glendinning) in Passaic in 1949.
He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, Attended college and turned his passion for cars into his profession. He has been involved in the auto industry for most of his life, working in various New Car dealerships until settling in the Tri County Lexus dealership in Totowa where was their Warrantee Specialist and acted as the Assistant Sales Manager for 16 years. Glen was the kind of guy that could fix anything, if was broken he could repair it. He always had a mechanical project going whether it was rebuilding a motor or fixing something around the house, he was always busy doing something. He loved Nascar and going to Drag Car races, he even had a chance to drive one once. As a younger man, he was active in the Rutherford Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Glen is survived by his beloved wife Kathy (nee DiLorenzo) his adored and talented two sons Daniel and his wife Heather and Michael Coleman and his loving granddaughter Autumn Marie, A brother Gary Robert and his wife Midge also sister and brother in law Neil DiLorenzo and wife Diane and Patricia DiLorenzo
Friends are invited to attend the funeral service Wednesday (time to follow) in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford followed by Interment in George Washington Mem. Park Cemetery, Paramus. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
