Guy Raymond Tetro, 50, of Rutherford passed away Sunday April 5, 2020. Born in Weehawken to Raymond Tetro and Sharon (nee Hannan).
While at Jersey City State College, Guy was a founding member of the Alpha Phi Omega chapter, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Guy was a computer wiz, founded Psycho software, and was the vice president of Hudson County Commodore Users Group. Guy was proud to found Hipnosis magazine dedicated to art and culture. He founded the North Jersey Geeks & Nerds gaming group, which met regularly at Jim Dandy’s. He was also a former Commissioner of the Civil Rights Commission in Rutherford. He was a dedicated animal lover and vegetarian. Guy was a passionate musician, most recently playing bass for the band Precious Bones.
Guy will be missed by his brothers, Raymond and Gary, sister-in-law Yadira Cabera, extended family, his two cats, and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
