Ancher, Hazel (nee Happel) age 100, of Lyndhurst died on September 11, 2010. Hazel was born in Hauppauge Long Island and lived most of her life in Lyndhurst. She was a member of the Amaranth Eastern Star of Lyndhurst and the Eclipse Eastern Star in Rutherford. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Edward E. (1994) and her son Edward (2002) and is survived by her dear daughter Joyce Clossey and her husband John. Hazel is also survived by her grandchildren Lori Seimetz, Lynn Zammit, Todd Ancher, Colleen McGowan, Karyn Kellner, Kevin McGowan and Kenneth McGowan and 6 great grand children. Funeral Wednesday 9:30am followed by a 10:00am Prayer service in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue Rutherford. Interment Crest Haven Cemetery, Clifton. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
