Helen Andrews, 89, of Rutherford, formerly of Kearney, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15th, 2015. She was born to Ludwig and Josephine (nee Wantuch) Andrews. Helen married her husband, the late Chester Andrews, Sr. who passed away in 1986. Helen was employed by Roval Lumber in Kearny where she worked as a secretary for 60 years.

Helen was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Harrison. Helen will be deeply missed by her devoted son Chester R. Andrews. She is predeceased by her only sibling the late Frank Wantuch.


Funeral on Friday 9:00am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford for 10:00am Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa, Harrison. Interment Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Family will receive friends on Thursday 2- 4pm and 7-9pm
