Flaws, Helen Sutton, 94, formerly of Rutherford, died peacefully July 13, 2010.
Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Flaws, mother of Robert S. Flaws and his wife Honora L. Wolfe and grandmother of Ian Flaws, aunt of Beverly Ehrhardt, great aunt of Lynn Gildea, Judy Higgins and BJ Ehrhardt, great-great aunt of Brian Gildea, Kristin Fox, Ashley & Brenley Higgins, Mclain Cheney, Ryan and Skyler Stiskin, great-great-great aunt of Thomas and Alison Gildea.
Helen was born in Hasbrouck Heights, the daughter of Helen Bartosch and Cornelius K. Sutton.
Helen graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School.
Long-time resident of Rutherford, Helen was past president of the Rutherford Woman's Club, a member of the Rutherford Ambulance Corp., Grace Episcopal Church and the Upper Montclair Country Club and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Friends will be received on Thursday 3 to 7pm in Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am at the Grace Episcopal Church, 128 West Passaic Avenue, Rutherford. Friends planning to attend the funeral service on Friday should arrive at funeral home 10:00am.
In Helen's memory, donations may be made in lieu of flowers, to the Rutherford Ambulance Corps or Rutherford Community Pantry.
