KELLY Helenmae (nee Berkowitz), 90, passed on February 16, 2010 She was born on September 30, 1919 in Jersey City, NJ, to Samuel and Mary (nee Donovan-Aaron) Berkowitz.. She was a longtime resident of Rutherford. Helenmae was a graduate of Dickinson High School, Jersey City, NJ and St John's University in Queens. She was employed as a Real Estate Agent for many years with Walter Johnson Realty, Bloomfield, She was an active member of St. Mary's Church and supporter of many charities including the local animal shelter. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years. Captain John J. Kelly of the Merchant Marines (1995) and her sister Rose McSweeny, her brothers Wallace Berkowitz, Milton Berkowitz and Ellsworth Berkowitz. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews Dr. Wallace P. Berkowtiz M.D., Michael Berkowitz, Rosemary Berkowitz Sekel, Daniel F. Berkowitz, Daryl Boyko, Ellsworth Berkowitz, David Berkowitz and Bryce Berkowitz. Funeral Saturday 9 AM from Collins-Calhoun FH, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Literary in St. Mary R.C.
