Obituary for Iris E Whitney (Watson)
Iris E. Whitney (nee Watson) 82, of Rutherford, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Beloved wife of the late William B. Whitney, Sr., Devoted mother of Carol A., William B. Jr., Debra J., and Leigh E. Whitney, daughter-in-law Yvonne, devoted grandmother of Meghan.
She was a registered nurse for over 50 years before retiring in 1993 from Passaic General Hospital.
Family will receive friends on Friday 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00-9 00pm in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue Rutherford. Funeral Saturday with 10:00am Service in Christ United Methodist Church, 228 Main Street, East Rutherford. Interment: East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton
