Iris E. Whitney (nee Watson) 82, of Rutherford, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Beloved wife of the late William B. Whitney, Sr., Devoted mother of Carol A., William B. Jr., Debra J., and Leigh E. Whitney, daughter-in-law Yvonne, devoted grandmother of Meghan.

She was a registered nurse for over 50 years before retiring in 1993 from Passaic General Hospital.
