Irmgard, 79, of Rutherford passed away Monday, January 11th, 2016.
She was born in Germany to Conrad and Martha Koester and came to the United States in 1957. She later married her husband, the late Robert Fougner and began to start their family. She was employed with Mercedes Benz Company in Montvale as a bi-lingual Administrative Assistant, as well as an interpreter for 15 years, before she retired in 1997. Irmgard was a member of the Rutherford Kip Center and the Rutherford Congregational Church, she drove for Star Fish, helped with the food pantry and enjoyed Crocheting.

Irmgard is predeceased by her husband Robert (2013). She will be deeply missed by her children, Barbara Rankin & husband Bill, Carin Patchell, Susan Cicchetti & husband Steve, Eric Fougner & wife Kathy, her grandchildren, Matthew & wife Heather, Angela & husband Jason, Christopher, Steven, Emily & Elizabeth.

Funeral will be held on Friday 9am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10am Prayer Service in Rutherford Congregational Church, Rutherford.
Interment in Rosedale Cemetery

Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm
