Arteschene, Ivan, Age 77 of Barnegat formerly of Elmwood Park passed away on Tuesday November 15th. He was born in Belgium on September 6th 1934 to Julia and Julian Arteschene. He came to the United States in 1959 with his beloved wife Noella (nee Hoornaert). He was an engineer at the Dalton School; he retired in June of 2010. He is survived by His wife of 57 years Noella of Barnegat, his son Ivan of Rutherford NJ, his sister Yvett Arteschene Verschuere and brother in-law Raf Verschuere of Roeselare Belgium and his sister in-law Maria. Ivan is predeceased by his brother Eric of Roeselare Belgium , and leaves behind multiple cousins in the United States and nieces and nephews in Belgium .

Visitation will take place on Thursday November 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9PM at the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue in Rutherford . Cremation will be Private.
Inurnment will take place on November 26, 2011 George Washington Memorial Park , Paramus at 9:30AM
