Ramsey, James 69 of Secaucus died on March 4, 2010 surrounded by his dear friends at home.
Jim was born Nov. 30, 1940 to Walter Ramsey and Gertrude Sellers. He was a Veteran serving both in the Army and Marine Corps.
He enjoyed cooking enough to earn his position as a Chef, he worked at first on Cruse Ships, then went on to open and successfully operate several restaurants, the Chefs Hut, La Coquille Restaurant, The Grand, all in Grand Junction, Colo. He also managed Andre's in Aspen Colo.
Along with all that; he enjoyed dirt bike racing, and his Harley. His other interests were Skiing and Scuba Diving. He traveled all over the world and made many friends.
His favorite saying was "Never a dull moment"!
He will be remembered and missed by his many good friends and acquaintances all around the world.
He is pre- deceased by this beloved wife Jill A. (nee Hublar) who passed in 2005 and is survived by His sister Theresa Hess and his nephew Jerry Hess, both in California.
Funeral Services were private under the direction of the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.
