Jane Balaz, 72, of Carlstadt, passed away Saturday, December 31st2016.
Born to John W. Davis and Constance (née Miller) Davis in Jersey City, Jane had a great love of animals, the environment, her Al-Anon family groups and children. She
was employed for an extended period by the A. W. Van Winkle Real Estate Agency in Rutherford during the 1980s and 1990s as a Real Estate Agent.
Jane was predeceased by her husband of 40 years John G. Balaz, Jr. in 2003. She will be deeply missed by her loving son Mark J. Balaz, daughter-in-law Miki Balaz, grandson Len Balaz, sister Susan Davis, brother-in-law Harold Teichman, brother Craig Miller Davis, niece Valerie Davis and nephew Matthew Teichman. She has now joined her life-long friends Kathleen Valentino and Susan Schultz.
Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford.
Funeral will be held in Funeral Home on Wednesday, gathering at 9am for a 10amMemorial Service, followed by Interment in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus and Century Road, Paramus.
