Joan Giordano, 87, of East Rutherford, formally of Rutherford, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020. Joan was born in Jersey City to Anthony Feneck & Rose (Nardone).

Joan married the love of her life Philip Giordano in 1955. They resided in Rutherford where they raised their 5 children.

In 1971, Joan & her husband founded their company "Computype Co." in Garfield. The company is known for Graphic Design and Typesetting. She was a member of the Rutherford Golden Age Club, and a long time & devoted parishioner of the Church of Saint Mary. Joan enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, gardening, hosting holiday gatherings and was an avid reader (she read everything). She especially loved and enjoyed her growing family.

Joan is predeceased by her husband Philip & her son James,
also brother Anthony Feneck & wife Rosie, sisters Anna Feneck, Jean & husband Ben Mele.

Joan will be missed by her loving children, Linda Moloney & husband Thomas, Philip & wife Susan, Mark & wife Kelly, Robert & wife Jill, grandchildren, Thomas & wife Kari, Joseph, Patrick & wife Jen, Philip & fiancee Virginia, Nicholas, Samantha, Lindsey, Anthony, Vincent & great-grandchildren, Cameron & Aidan, also brother and sister in law Joseph and Martha Giordano as well as many nieces and nephews.

Private Burial. A “celebration of life” will be announced at a later date.
