John David “Jack” Boyd, 83, of Rutherford, NJ, died, Friday, May 11, 2012, at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA.
Born in Rutherford, NJ, Jack was a resident for 83 years. He retired as a Bergen County Sheriff’s Officer, after 25 years of service.
A veteran, Jack served in the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife, Helen (Rogers); a son, Robert and wife Lorraine (Iwanowski), of Rutherford; a daughter, Sally (Arnold) and her husband, John of Stewartsville, NJ.
Jack is also survived by a grandson, Matthew King Arnold.
Funeral will be private.
