John J. Petillo, Sr., 91, of Hallandale, FL formerly of Waretown, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2010. John was born in Hoboken to Emil and Antoinette Petillo.
He was the President of Natcontainer Corporation, North Bergen, NJ for 25 years, and retired in 1990.
He is survived by his loving companion Michelle Fortier of Montreal, Canada, his children, John J. Petillo, Jr. and his wife Sharyn of Palm Beach Gardens, FL., Robert Petillo and his wife Sherry of Old Bridge, NJ and Gerard Petillo and his wife Marlana of Edison, NJ.
He leaves behind 6 grandchildren John J. Petillo III and his wife Kristen, Michelle Kean and her husband Reed, Christine Petillo, Lisa Petillo, Alexandra Petillo and Erica Petillo, his cherished great grandson John J. Petillo IV. He is also survived by his sisters Antoinette Petillo and Rachel Petillo of Rutherford, NJ.
Friends will be received on Thursday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Collins-Calhoun FH, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Mass Friday 9:45am, Church of St. Mary, Rutherford, NJ. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
