John J.,80, of Rutherford on March 02, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Dunellen NJ, raised in Jersey City and lived in Rutherford for the past 47 years.
He retired in 1977 from the Port Authority Police Dept. after 22 years. Following retirement, he was an executive driver for 17 years with Prudential.
John served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
John was predeceased by his wife and love of his life Nancy, (2004)
and is survived by his loving children David and his wife Renee’, Victor, Eric and his wife Christine, his cherished grandchildren Johnny, David, Kristen, Caroline, Eric, Nicole, Joseph and his sister Martha Krauter.

Funeral Monday 8:30am from the Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, followed by 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary, 91 Home Avenue.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm
