Obituary for Joseph "Joey" Petrillo

Joseph Petrillo, 59, of Jersey City, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 4, 2021. Born in Belleville to Joseph, Sr. and Roselle (nee Albino) Petrillo.

Joseph “Joey” began his career as an Iron Worker in his late 20’s and was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 11 Newark, NJ.

Joey was an avid fly fisherman, fishing in Sheepshead Bay, NY and Beaverkill, Delaware County, NY. He also hunted in Upstate NY. Joey was a big Soccer fan and a “Formula 1” racing fan; he enjoyed his own unnamed 20 ft. boat. He loved his Willy's Jeep giving him a nickname of "Jeepy Joe".

Joey is predeceased by his father Joseph Petrillo (2019). He will be deeply missed by his mother Roselle Quinn and husband Charles, sister’s Kathy Petrillo and husband Lorenzo Piccolo, Marissa Petrillo, his niece Lola B. Piccolo, his former wife Susan Price, Aunt Arlene Albino Ralph and Uncle Richard Ralph, Aunt Maryann Petrillo, cousins Rebecca Leue, Abigail Ralph, Anthony de la Fuente and Carlos de la Fuente.

Family will receive friends Saturday, June 19th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for Memorial visiting in the Calhoun Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
