Ackermann, Judith (nee Rellinger) 64, in Hackensack, on February 3, 2014. Born to Charles and Regina Rellinger, she grew up in Dumont and was a longtime resident of Rutherford. Judy will be most remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and active member of The Community of God’s Love. She was a middle school teacher in East Rutherford and was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2006.

She is survived by her adoring husband Bruce of 40 years, and her eight devoted children, Colleen Fencik and her husband Rob, Matt and his wife Marisa, Peter and his wife Jennifer, Nick and his wife Sarah, Teresa Valente and her husband Mike, Kevin and his girlfriend Cinthya Valdivia, Denis and his fiancée Michelle Dunn, and Lauren Ackermann. Her precious grandchildren Andy, Jimmy, Danny, Will, Aidan, Jude and CJ will miss her dearly.
She also leaves her cherished siblings Mark Rellinger and his wife Judy, Dale Giackette and her husband Gary, Donna Donovan and her husband Ed.
Funeral Saturday 9:30 am, from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, followed by a 10:30 am Mass at the Church of St. Mary 91 Home Avenue Rutherford.

Family will receive friends Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
