DePew, June M. (nee Smith) 79, of East Rutherford on December 18, 2013

Born in East Rutherford to Menzo and Helen Smith. She has been a life long resident.

June was a superintendent of her Apartment Building for many years; She also was past Pres. of VFW Auxiliary Post 227, Past District President of Bergen County VFW District 2 Ladies Auxiliary and held membership for 49 years.

June is pre-deceased by her Husband William D.(1995) her brother Melvin Smith and sister Helen Smith and is survived by her sister Elizabeth ”Betty” Brantl, Sister In-law Helen Smith, Cousin Joan Walker Plosia, and Carol Kosco, Nieces and Nephew Sandra, Debra, Barbara and John Brantl, her Godchild David and twelve Great nieces and nephews along with her best friends Michael Ortez, and Joseph Piazza


Relatives and friends are invited to attend Prayer Services Friday 7:30pm by the Rev. Sherrone Ingram and Rev. Gloria Jackson. Following, there will be a Ritual Service by the Bergen County VFW District 2.

Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM. in the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, NJ
