Obituary for Kenneth Allen
Kenneth M. Allen, 79, of Florham Park passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center after a brief illness.
A graduate of Thiel College, Ken served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1964 - 1966. He then married the love of his life Jeanette (nee Kerwin) and just celebrated his 53rd wedding anniversary. He worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years, most recently for AIG. In his retirement Ken developed a love of golf and was a member of the Mount Tabor Golf Club. He also belonged to the American Legion and was the Senior Vice Commander of the Morris County Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
Ken is survived by his wife Jeanette, his sister, Judith Allen, his in-laws, Celine Kerwin, Raymond T. Kerwin and his wife Joan, Kathleen Kerwin, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be forthcoming. Donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Morris County Chapter #63, 16 High Street, Kenvil, NJ 07847.
