Kenneth “Pop” H. 78, of Rutherford passed away on March 07, 2012 peacefully surrounded by his family.
Kenneth was born in Jersey City, lived in Rutherford for the past 53 years and attended St. Peter’s College. He was employed by Colgate Palmolive for 38 years as the Controller for Co-op Advertising and retired in 1986.
Kenneth coached Farm and Babe Ruth baseball for 15 years and loved all young people.
He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Doyle) for 57 years. Devoted father of Kenneth, Daniel and his wife Trudi and his adoring granddaughters Lindsay and Gina, his brother Donald and his wife Jeanine and predeceased by his sister Barbara McAlister Hickey. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pop will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and love for Life.
Funeral Monday 9:00am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford followed by 10:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy in St Joseph Parish, East Rutherford.
Interment: George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 11th, 4pm to 8pm.
