Kenneth Wallace Kuhne, 78, passed away on July 21, 2023. Kenny was predeceased by his parents, George and Dorothea (née Lyons) Kuhne. He is survived by his wife, Lynn (née Bugbee), and daughter, Jane Kuhne; his sister, Jane Bengivenni, and her husband, John; and his niece, Jennifer Brown, and her children, Sam, Emma, and Avery. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.

A lifelong resident of Rutherford and Normandy Beach, NJ, Kenny loved the shore. Since childhood, he spent every minute he could at his family home on Kupper Drive. It was there, surrounded by family and lifelong friends that he was truly happiest. An avid fisherman, he would spend hours casting from the shoreline when the “blues were running.”

A proud veteran of the US Navy, Kenny was a kind and honorable man. He appreciated a good laugh and enjoyed the simple things in life like bird watching, a catchy tune, or a good book. Most of all, he was a proud father. His daughter, Jane was his pride and joy.

A private memorial celebration will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made in his memory to the Tomorrow's Children Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center.
