Marino, Lee Marie (nee Prisco) of Rutherford passed surrounded by her family on February 28, 2016.
Lee was born in Hoboken to Salvatore Prisco and Nicoletta (nee Marinelli)
She was employed by United Jersey Bank in Rutherford on the Platform for many years retiring in 1983 at the age of 72, she also volunteered as a Lunch Aid for all the Public Schools taking care of all the students for 11 years. Lee was well known for her baking and cooking especially her Eggplant Parmesan.
But her best was her Norwegian Nut Cake that she made for all her family, friends and neighbors during Christmas season. She walked everywhere no matter what the distance.
During her younger years she loved to dance, even winning a Peabody Contest at the Roseland dance hall in NYC back in the 1940’s.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent (2008) they lived in Rutherford for 57years where they raised their family.
Lee is survived by her loving daughters Leslie and Colette Marino, many nieces and nephews and was one of seven siblings.
Funeral will be Wednesday 8:30am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in The Church of Saint Mary 91 Home Ave. Rutherford.
Interment, Crest Haven Cemetery, Clifton.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 9pm.
