Lori Ann Dowd, 59, of Rutherford, passed away early Saturday morning, July 1, 2023.   Lori is predeceased by her loving mother, Addie E. Lane (1998).    Following her mother's footsteps, Lori wished to be cremated. Lori is survived by her loving fiance, David Lomega, and her aunts Tuck and Susan.  Lori was born June 30, 1964 in New Brunswick, NJ and was raised by her unyielding mother, Addie.  She lost her battle with an aggressive cancer after fighting bravely for over a year.  After finding her fiance David,  they enjoyed good coffee, traveling, concerts, firehouse wet downs and visiting a variety of breweries and distilleries.  Lori was an ardent cat lover, most recently spoiling Grizzy, Fuzzybutt and Dakota.  Lori was a fan of old movies and remembered random facts about any movie that she had seen.  Lori will be sadly missed by family and many wonderful friends.

Family will receive any loved ones and all of her plethora of friends Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for Memorial visiting at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.   There will be a short service at 4:00pm.
