Louis A Laurenzo., age 80, of Rutherford on February 16, 2013 at home surrounded by his caring family. Born in the Bronx he lived most of his life in Rutherford. He Served his country in the US Army, discharged in 1958; graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1954; was a chemist for SB Penick of Lyndhurst for 36 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a classically trained pianist who enjoyed playing as a freelance musician. He also collaborated with other artists on writing scores to lyrics of various songs and recording with PIC records.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Theresa (nee Garziano), devoted children, daughter Tina Sinopoli and husband Doug, son Michael Laurenzo and six


grandchildren; Jordan, Desiree, Mia, Michael, Cathy, and Susan and great-grandchildren; Taylor, Mikayla, Madison and Shai. He also leaves his brother Ralph Lourenzo and his wife Susan along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are asked to assemble Thursday 9:15AM for a Funeral Mass at the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford.
Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, No., Arlington immediately after Service.
Family will receive friends Wednesday February 20th 4:00PM TO 8:00PM at the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford
