Louise Henrietta, age 93 of Venice, Fl., passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was born in Bethlehem, Pa on November 6, 1919 to Louisa and John Werner.
Louise was raised in Bethlehem where she met her (then Lehigh student) husband Fred of 60 years and moved to Los Alamos, NM during WW II while her husband worked on the Manhattan Project. She and her husband returned to the East Coast and lived for many years in Hoboken and Rutherford, NJ, before moving to Venice, Fl in the mid 80’s. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Venice. Up until her last year, she was an active bridge player and in past years was involved as a volunteer with the Venice Little Theatre.
She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Suzanne Dengel and Wayne of Sarasota, Fl, Carol Ann Wood and Douglas of Wyckoff, NJ, and Jonan Cohen and Howard of Whippany NJ. There are also seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Fred Henry (6/26/2002), three brothers, John Werner, Henry Werner, and Fred Werner, and a sister, Elizabeth Gross.

There will be a family graveside service with internment at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sat., January 19, 2012 at 10.00 AM.
