Margaret T. McAuley (née McAleer) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

Born on July 19, 1934, Peggy was raised in Jersey City where she eventually met and married the love of her life, Patrick McAuley.
They moved to Rutherford in 1966 where they raised their four children. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and her blue eyes and warm smile will be forever remembered.

Peggy is survived by her children,  Kevin and his wife, Nancey, Stephen and his wife, Amanda and Eileen. She also leaves her grandchildren,  Ryan, Kyle and his wife, Chelsea, Daniel, Shea, Evan and Jackson, as well as two great granddaughters,  Penelope and Sofia, her niece, Eileen Michie, her husband, Robert and children Sean and Kiersten. Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, Kevin, daughter, Ann Marie and sister, Eileen Kelly.

Family will recieve friends Tuesday October 11, 2022 from 9:30am to 10:45am at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.  Funeral mass thereafter 11:00am at the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.  Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
